After whalewatching or a Helicopter flight you can retire in comfort at this 5 Star B&B lodge or enjoy a bottle of stunning Marlborough Sav/Blanc in the sun captured courtyard. The views from the courtyard take in million dollar views to Mt Fyffe and the Kaikoura seaward ranges. For approx 7 months of the year these mountains are capped with snow and make for a stunning backdrop to the Kaikoura region.  The rooms are well equiped and have wireless internet, ensuites, T&C facilities, heating, LCD TV with free view.

 All rooms are facing away from the main highway.

NON-Smoking Policy:

This Boutique B&B has a NON smoking Policy which applies to all our buildings.

Smoking is permitted in the courtyard.

Tariffs are quoted in NZ$ and charged on a per room per night basis. This boutique lodge is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation within 7 days of arrival attracts a charge of 25% of the full tariff

Cancellation with 24 hrs  of arrival attracts a 100% charge for every room night

We encourage all valued guests to take travel insurance in the event that circumstances outside their control cause cancellation of their booking and thus incur a cancellation fee

Statutory Holiday Policy at this Rammed Earth Lodge:

Restaurant surcharge  of 15% is payable

Xmass Day  .. Mid Day  Xmass dinner by reservation only. Tariff will be advised on reservation. The restaurant is CLOSED in the evening on the 25th December so we can celebrate this special day too.

Restaurant:

"The Fyffe" restaurant is open from 6pm during the months of October - April. During the winter months this luxury -lodge restaurant is closed to the general public with the exception of group reservations.  Meals are always available for House Guests. Please advise us on arrival if you wish to dine. The restaurant is by reservation only so please tell us when making a reservation should you wish to dine. The restaurant has national awards and specialises in Seafood.  The lodge sports its own brand of  "seafood chowder" and the regional delicacy of fresh crayfish is always available on the menu.
